SNAG docs, for creators
Launch your token on Pons or anywhere on Robinhood Chain, then add a SNAG collection. SNAG creates the NFT collection. It does not create your token or its trading pool. $SNAG is the working example of the technology.
The creator pays a one-time deploy fee plus an opening gas tank deposit, in ETH. The exact transaction value is the factory's current deploy fee plus the deposit you choose. Your wallet also pays the network gas for creation, shown separately when you sign. The deploy fee is read from the factory, never guessed.
Every delivered piece uses the collection's tank. This builder sets the per-piece platform fee to zero, matching the collection script. Anyone can top up; only the current collection owner can withdraw unused ETH. Buyer wallets sign no mint transaction and pay nothing for delivery.
The estimate divides the tank by 173413 measured billed gas units times the current gas price, capped by your reimbursement gas price limit, plus the collection's per-piece fee. It is an estimate, not a promise of a count. The local measurement is recorded in REPORT-PLATFORM.md; it is not a live-chain fee measurement.
Delivery checks a larger reserve before every mint: 400000 gas units at the capped gas price plus the per-piece fee. A tank can fall below that reserve before it reaches zero. The collection page shows that status.
Share the collection page after creation. Buyers trade wherever they already trade, then connect or paste the wallet that received their tokens on that collection's page. The route checks qualifying buys and sends the pieces to that wallet. Delivery happens moments after the buy, not in the same transaction. A funded tank and an operating signing and delivery service are required.
An empty tank pauses delivery, not ownership. Existing pieces stay in their owners' wallets. After a top-up, buyers can check again within the service's bounded history window. Connecting does not move their tokens.
Choose a collection name, symbol and description; 22 palette colour roles; one of two character sets; one of two headwear sets; and four groups of trait weights. Each group totals 1000. Option names and geometry are fixed by the renderer. Choose Upload my own art to use custom layers and names instead. The preview uses the same drawing rules as the on-chain renderer.
Set 0 is the SNAG example: round, bean, square and star; none, leaf, cap, bow, sprout, scarf, headphones and crown. Set 1 offers drop, shield, hex and bolt; none, horn, visor, antenna, halo and mohawk. Both sets use four glass options and three frame finishes.
Each glass pair must have two different colours. Eyes and body need a luminance gap of at least 64 on the contract's 0 to 255 scale. The theme is fixed when the collection is created. The rarity ladder is computed from your weights, including ties.
In step 2 choose Upload my own art. Define 1 to 6 groups in stacking order, bottom to top. Each group needs 2 to 16 named options and one PNG per option. Every layer must be square and the same size, from 512 to 2048 pixels. Keep each file at or below 2 MB and the full draft at or below 40 MB. PNG alpha channels and transparent palettes are supported. SVG and animated PNG files are refused.
Each group totals 1000 integer weight units. Zero-weight options are allowed. Balance for me scales the values for you. The preview composites your layers and shows 12 fixed sample seeds plus a rarity ladder calculated from your weights. A transparent option can represent no accessory. Group and option names are limited to 32 UTF-8 bytes.
Choose Upload and preview stored art before creating. Files upload one at a time. One draft per IP is allowed every 10 minutes. An unbound draft expires after 24 hours. Once uploaded, changing any layer, name or weight needs a new draft. Complete creation within that window. If creation confirms but art binding needs another confirmation or a retry, use Check confirmation. Keep this tab or its saved session until binding finishes.
The collection freezes the service address, group names, option names, packed weights and a SHA-256 manifest digest at creation. Its mint seed is on chain; traitsOf returns the verifiable option indices. The service checks each image hash, reads the indices from the chain, and serves metadata and composited PNGs. The Rank attribute uses the same weight-based tiers as the preview.
Images are served by SNAG's service, not stored on chain. Their availability depends on that service and its storage. Anyone with the original layers and manifest can verify the digest and reconstruct pieces. Download and keep your source layers. The collection image uses the first deterministic sample. Royalty rules are the same in both art modes.
Your connected wallet owns the collection. You can pause or resume delivery, withdraw unused tank ETH, transfer ownership immediately, set the reimbursement gas price cap, and lower the royalty or change its receiver. Royalties start at 0 to 10 percent and can never rise. Marketplaces decide whether to honour them.
Before the first mint, the owner can change token, pool and minimum buy. SNAG character weights can also change before the first mint; uploaded art weights are fixed at creation. After the first mint these settings freeze. The optional hook control grants direct mint access to its address; it is not needed for the normal delivery service. Theme, supply cap and per-piece fee cannot be edited after creation.
Read the token details and check the pool candidate against your launch. The pool finder counts contract senders in the first 5000 token blocks. That is a discovery clue, not proof that an address is your pool. If archive reads are unavailable, enter a pool you have checked. Minimum buys use the token's real decimals.
Review the full addresses, weights and exact ETH total. The site simulates the request before asking your wallet to send one createCollection transaction. If it is still pending, check its confirmation instead of creating again. The success panel links to your public collection page and its tank controls.
No audit yet. The platform signer attests to qualifying buys. The factory owner can rotate that signer and control which relayers are allowed. Delivery depends on that service, RPC availability and a funded tank. It is not a fully permissionless proof system. No collection from this builder has been deployed or validated in production by this work.
When the factory address is missing, the builder and previews remain available. Creation opens when the factory is published. No wallet request is needed to explore.
